O New Beattle chegar\u00e1 \u00e0s lojas com novidades para os amantes do fusca original e para aqueles que gostam de tecnologia e conforto. At\u00e9 o nome passou por mudan\u00e7as. Agora ele passa a se chama apenas \u201cBeetle 2012\u201d ou &#8220;21st &#8220;Century Beetle&#8221;, deixando o \u201cNew\u201d de lado. O projeto do carro est\u00e1 maior e mais comprido. S\u00e3o quatro assentos com encostos reclin\u00e1veis para acomodar, caso seja necess\u00e1rio, um armazenamento adicional no porta-malas. As lanternas traseiras perderam o formato oval e agora s\u00e3o longas e seguem o formato mais \u201cesguio\u201d do autom\u00f3vel.<\/p>\n<p>Para o lan\u00e7amento do Beattle 2012, a Volkswagem preparou eventos nos tr\u00eas continentes: \u00c1sia, Europa e Am\u00e9rica. Na China e nos Estados Unidos, a festa de apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o do carro foi feita com a MTV local, com direito a show do Black Eyed Peas em Nova York. J\u00e1 em Berlim, a promo\u00e7\u00e3o do novo modelo foi feita com a dupla 2manydjs em um cen\u00e1rio que lembrava uma pista de dan\u00e7a. O 21st Century Beetle\u00a0deve chegar \u00e0 \u00c1merica do Sul entre 2012 e 2013.
